CAT RESCUE SANCTUARY

SAVE THE KITTIES CAT RESCUE AND SANCTUARY

"SAVE THE KITTIES!"

This rescue began as a burden of love for a starving kitty that belonged to a neighbor who wouldn't feed, fix or vet their cat. They wouldn't let me spay her, so she continued having litter after litter--

I am least able to afford this; finally, after 28 kittens were born, they consented to allowing us to spay her.

Officially founded in 2005, to help support the care of domestic & feral kitties in my neighborhood. There were starving kitties and kitties having babies in our yard in desperate need. We decided to take care of the kitties, as all of the shelters in our area were full and euthanizing every cat that came in.

With the help of Rose Marie Woods, our spay/neuter program was sponsored by The Western Reserve Humane Society.

The operations were handled at Euclid Veterinary Hospital.  Dr. Stearns was really great to us and all aftercare was done by myself.

For several years, we were doing well without feral females showing up at the door, but over the last year and a half, we have had several show up who need to be spayed-they are still having 2 litters a year at this point, and we cannot afford to feed, litter and vet them. Adoptions are down, with the economy in the shape it is--We need YOU!!!

All monies have come out of my personal pocket, but we seriously need help at this time-we have kittens that need to find homes, feral cats that need to be spayed and neutered, kitties that need food, litter and vet care...

Our Monthly Needs:

***60 lbs of dry food  or fresh meat

***50 lbs of Fresh Step Cat litter

***Wormers

*** Flea Medications and 3-48 can Box Friskies  Pate--

Our Vet care is not yet sponsored.  If you are a Vet and would like to offer your services whether it be prescriptions or anything else, please contact us.

Recently, a terrible storm came through and one of the female feral cats was seriously injured. Her left hind leg was broken and her hip was as well-on top of this, she was pregnant.

We now have 7 Females that need to be altered and we need some help with those costs before there are 7 females having an average of 5 kittens each. Our population could explode from the current population to over 35 more kittens in just a month.

Without your help, we cannot make it happen. We are doing a thankless job and training feral kittens to make them good houseguests is not an easy job- and it is expensive.

If you can donate anything, large or small, it will help.

We do have a private PAYPAL that you can use to help.

You can send a donation payment through Paypal by using the email address: theorganicpet@hotmail.com

Be sure to make a note that it is designated to help SAVE THE KITTIES--We need help financially for a spay/neuter for 8 cats at this time-5 Kittens, 2 Adult Females and 1 Adult Male...

Emergency help needed-any amount will help-

Thank you-
