THE RANSOM RANCH PROJECT

In April of 2007, The Ransom Ranch Project was born, with the acquisition of an Arabian Horse on it's way to the slaughter auction.

Prince was a 22 year old Registered Arabian Gelding that had been abused, neglected and starved in order to keep him more quiet, as he ran in a herd of Quarter Horses.

Prince was at least 300 lbs. underweight, rain-rot over 90% of his body and had thrush. He had been wearing a halter that was too small for his face and had a white scar where it had been. He was afraid of our hands and threw his head in the air repeatedly.

Prince had a kind eye and we fell in love with him almost immediately.

We prayed and asked Yahweh to make it lightning bolt confirmation clear whether we should take this horse on for the ministry.

Yahweh answered very clearly through "circumstances", "coincidents" and through prayer and reading the Word Of God- and then, when we went to sign paperwork, the final confirmation-

The registered name of Prince was actually, "Alleluia Prince". Alleluia translated means, "Praise Yah with highest praise".

From then on, it was a laborious journey of love, patience, kindness and training with lots of yummy hay, feed, mashes and organic special diet treats for Prince from The Organic Pet.

Prince's favorite Granola Bars were the Sunflower & Chia Seed Granola Bars-they had the entire spectrum of Omegas-3, 6 and 9 in the perfect balance!

He also loved our very special Oat & Chia Mash that smells so delicious, that humans cannot resist!
